To all subscribers of “The Whirl of ReOrientation,”
I'm back after a few weeks dedicated to deep academic study and collaborative work. The goal of all of it is to continue to reinforce the mission of “The Whirl of ReOrientation.” This also happens to be my personal and professional mission.
What is the mission?
“To teach, develop and integrate the theories of John Boyd into our personal and professional lives; to help leaders and teams thrive in any environment.”
This time away has been transformative. It was spent in research and work that aims to make Boyd's work even more accessible. I aim to help turn that accessibility into practical action for today and tomorrow's challenges.
I've also started an exciting new chapter in my life. In it I am able to enhance my research capabilities and helps forge new partnerships. All of this is focused on implementing Boyd’s strategies in leadership and team dynamics.
I want there to be zero ambiguity about my gratitude to you for your support of developing and applying Boyd’s work. Thanks to each of you for your ongoing support and engagement. It drives our mission to integrate Boyd’s amazing ideas into our everyday lives.
As we drive forward, I invite you to explore more through the podcast I cohost with Brian "Ponch" Rivera. It is called “No Way Out,” and it's a project of my company AGLX. You can find it wherever you consume podcasts. You can also find it here at https://www.aglx.com/no-way-out.
John Boyd said, “You gotta challenge all assumptions. If you don’t, what is doctrine on day one becomes dogma forever after.”
I’m going to keep doing that and I’m honored to have you on board!
Thanks again for joining me on this journey. Together, we will continue to challenge conventional thinking. We will ensure Boyd's insights continue to inspire meaningful action and change.
Warmly,
Mark
PS: There are a few of you I want to extend an extra special thanks. These are just some of the people on Substack that have encouraged, influenced, inspired and recommended the work of “The Whirl of ReOrientation.”
